Excellent outcome of the accreditation process for DEC’ Degrees and Master Programmes
The AQU has accredited the degrees programmes in journalism, audiovisual communication and advertising and public relations and the MASTERDEC
During 21 and 22 April 2016 the Department of Communication Studies was visited by a delegation from the AQU which aimed to evaluate the undergraduate and master programmes offered by the department.
The report of the AQU highlights the extraordinary collaboration of the university community throughout the process and the quality of the self-report presented by DEC and the additional evidence.
The overall evaluation of the agency highlights the very positive assessment of all the professors. Despite being a small group, the AQU highlights its position regarding publications, research projects and international visibility, well above the average in the area of ??communication in Spain.
Both the three degrees as MASTERDEC have far exceeded the quality required for accreditation, in terms of the quality of programs and respective contents, as well as in what refers to the curriculum and experience of department members.
