Important DEC participation in the ECREA 2018 Conference
Several members of the Department of Communication Studies participate in the 2018 edition of the ECREA Conference 'Centers and Peripheries: Communication, Research, Translation', which will take place in Lugano from October 31st to November 3rd.
The presentations that will be presented are the following:
"Chronic diseases, social support and social media: A systematic review", by Anna Sendra, Jordi Farré and Robert W. Vaagan.
"Molto: Radio Programming Structures as a political tool: A comparative study between Catalonia and Scotland", by Marta Montagut and Mariola Tàrrega
"The construction of conflictive issues and influence in the virtual public sphere: October 1st in Catalonia as a case study", by Josep M. Grau-Masot, Carlota M. Moragas-Fernández and Arantxa Capdevila.
"Goods to be delivered and Floods to be contained. The European refugee crisis in the Spanish press", by Carlota M. Moragas-Fernández and Marta Montagut.
"Is there a place for caring masculinities in contemporary feature fiction films? An analysis of Still Mine, Intouchables and Nebraska", by N. Araüna, I. Tortajada and C. Willem.
"Lesbian youtubers coming out: Between 'authenticity' and personal branding", by Willem, I. Tortajada, A. Caballero Gálvez and N. Araüna.
