This year the Chair takes part in science week with the exhibition "Som la Pera". This will take place in the Bartrina theatre of Reus from 14 to 23 November 2014
The Chair for Excellence in Communication collaborates on the training seminar 'Communicating Food Science'
The training seminar is held on November 25th and 26th at the Technological Center of Nutrition and Health (CTNS) in Reus
The European proyect MAITRE organizes the training seminar "Communicating Food Science" in collaboration with the Chair for Excellence in Communication on November 25th and 26th at the Technological Center of Nutrition and Health (CTNS) in Reus. The training seminar is aimed at those researchers specialized in nutrition and food, who wants to learn or to get better at communicating the scientific information of their projects to the public.
From a practical point of view, the seminar offers tools that enable the scientists to communicate the results of their research in an effective way.
To interact with the media and PR departments, to face interviews, to talk in front of a camera and also to properly communicate scientific information on the Internet are some of the points dealt with during the training seminar.
